I second this. If you've got video, I'd love to see that too. Thanks.

I use weld bond glue. Basically just elmers glue. Dries clear and easy to wipe off excess. Just tape it down after with about 3 strips going over it and pulling it down tight to the fuse and let it sit over night.

I always use canopy blue Pacer Formula 560. Dries clear. Takes 24 hours so tape in place, but it gives you plenty of time to align it. Will not fog clear plastic, and is slightly elastic. Dries clear. Clean with water before it sets, and alcohol after it is dry. Best glue ever for cold applications. Do not use on things that get warm like an ESC.

Yeah, CA on canopies is a big no no.

+1 on the Pacer 560. I just glued a canopy on earlier today. On my BN though, I used mini screws to hold it on because I wanted to be able to get back into it later.

E6000 is a craft glue you can get at walmarty...stuff dries clear, fast and STRONG. I can pick up my planes by the canopy. Best part, if you need in there again, a quick slice with a blade between the canopy and fuse and it'll come right off. Just don't use it on foam..

I use "formula 560"

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCX70&P=ML

have used it for 30 years under a 1/2 dozen different names but it actually etches the canopy and the covering and holds very well. it looks just like elmer's glue, but if u get it on the clear part of the canopy even for a few seconds it will etch it. this formula is not water proof i fly in the rain occationally. the outer surface of the glue gets white after lott's of exposure, 3-4 hr in the rain, the wood in barn door ailerons swellinf is a much bigger concern.

Luckily in here in AZ there isn't much rain so don't have to worry about that.
