12N 14P Brushless DC Motor
I have 12N 14P Brushless and sensorless DC Motor, and I'm trying to learn how it works. Actually I know basicly how it turns but some part of the process is missing in my mind. I know the stator and winding , I know what is going on the stator when I connect my motor to the battery but I couldnt figure out back emf. Especially outrunner motors have a different logic I guess. Why there is 14 permanent magnets placed the rotor? What is the shape of magnetic flux and 14 magnets reaction when I started the commutation? I'm searcing almost 2 weeks and I coulnt find the answers of my questions. May you suggest me an animations related to 12N 14P motors? Particularly about back emf and the shape of magnetic field created by stator windings and permanent magnets.
