This is a great LED controller. Dimming, strobe, chase, slow fade. I built a foamy to experiment with and it turned out well. I am going to use a several of them in my Kadet night flyer.

Lol not 5000 LEDs.

5050 RGB. Various colors from a single led or something like that. Lol

No I will probably slow down the flash sequence
LEDs are already soldered in parallel

So kinda of a pain to redo the layout

On the other night flyer I plan on having non flashing solid white on the bottom
And color changing on the top

FCA

PS. That video was shot right after I soldered on the controller
Should have had some techno music playing. Lol

That looks good. Imagine the floats lit up from inside.

Nice Tim!

Can you by chance work out some sort of LED prop for fixed wing?

Preferably anywhere between 14 and 17 inches

Wow, that's a nice set up!

Here's my first attempt at putting led lights on my glider. I've flow it now three times and the last time it was very dark and I could tell which wing was the right and left and top and bottom. I never had any problems with orination. Now I LOVE NIGHT FLYING!

Why do so many of these planes have green/red left/right wings? I understand the full-scale nav lights color scheme, but in my experience it's more important to discern top wing from bottom wing at night. In daylight, our models don't have different left/right color schemes. They have distinct top/bottom schemes. I think the night planes look better when they are uniformly one color on top and one on bottom. Just my opinion; a lot of people doing LEDs for the first time think they need distinct colors on left and right wings. I don't think so.
