3d models resource?

been trying to build my own plane in ac3d so i can practivce more accurately.
this however is turning into a huge project i think is too big for my time allocation
is there a resource for sample planes / panting help and such?
please?

Grabcad has a few planes. Many would need lots of work to be a good RC plane. But could be some help.

There are tricks you can use to speed up the process, like building laterally only one side, then mirror that side. It allows you to maintain symmetry without having to tweak two sides.
