Awesome Pics!

Powerlab 6 showed up, man it has a lot of settings. I didn't order the USB programmer, do any of you use it, or is it mainly for updating the Firmware?

There are some settings that can only be performed with the USB programmer. However I have the USB programmer and still have not used it. To lazy to figure it all out so far.

If you are trying to do the high discharge back into a large battery you will need the programmer to activate this feature.

It works great without it so that's why I have delayed using it.

I haven't used the that feature yet either, I can select it under options to enable it. Will it actually work or do I need to use the programmer? Or does it have a limited capacity to use it but then you have to use the programmer to enable the higher capacity?

It's my understanding that you have to use the programmer to get it above 10 amps regenerative charge.

I think Phil meant regenerative DIScharge, where you discharge your packs by charging something like a car battery. That can discharge your lipos much faster since it's using that energy to change the lead acid instead of dissipating that energy as heat which is how a charger normally handles it.

I think I used my usb connection to setup some presets originally and at first I played with using the app to monitor while charging, you can actually log you charges if you want to. I've not used the USB since I first got the charger though.

Yep, I meant discharge. Thanks for catching that.

I charge at 40 amps all day long with the stock setup.

No flying for me tomorrow. Taking care of a sick dog. She just had surgery and got fixed. Just want to keep an eye on her.
