Thanks for all above comments, I'm pleased to say the frame is complete and starting to hand paint the whole thing today firstly applying base coat to spot all the dints. Originally I expected AUW to be 12kg but after ading all the bits it will end up minimum 15kg.The paint alone might be 1/2kg after some 3 coats. Bit of the set back as I decided to upgrade, to double my Elevon servos to 4 and new stronger Elevon controls will be made up just for the piece of mind, Joe.

Painting is going well and at the same time making up the landing gear. My booster power units were align and formers well anchored to the frame so I can start now on the nightmare of the electronic hook up, it is going to take lot of soldering of heavy 8 gauge leads and connectors not very enjoyable job but it has to be done. I only wish there were more hours in the day, Joe.

Very nice! I've been designing something a little different myself over the last few months. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress
![]() PS I like the idea of the different sized fan units. This should give you a unique sound. |
