It goes well for a 16lb plane on a 90mm fan

Het have repaired and returned my 700-68-1200 for no charge which is great. So I've fixed the fire damage from the 4074-1200 and esc failing and have re-installed the Het.

Now I just have to wait for a good day when I'm not working to give it a workout

Hi Rainer I have just ran the Align 500MX motor up .This is with no inlet lip as don't have one on 8S 3450 Turnigy HV Bolt packs. Settled figures are 28.1v, 107A, 3012W. 40317 RPM. This after holding WOT for 8 seconds 550 mah into the pack.Peak figures are 34.2V, 109.7v .3115W, 40948 RPM, even this is about 400 mah in I ramped it up slowly the ceiling tiles sounded quite unhappy. I was viewing from the behind a glass wall. Do you have any RPM figures for your tests I know air-frames will and eflux will affect overall results but I think this is easiest guide to overall efficiency.

Just found the calculator on E-Jets looks like about 4kg of thrust with that rpm that will do nicely.

Got 6 flights with the rebuilt 700-68-1200 on 12 cells before the armature self destructed again, this time it smells as though a winding has gone as well. Maybe they had a bad batch of those motors, not a combo I'd recommend for lots of full throttle running

Have ordered a 650-68-1130 so will try that next. A bit less power with the lower kv and newer design motor may help things last longer

I've been running a JetFan 90 with a Wemo Evo rotor and a HET 700-68-1200 on 12S for many months with no problems. I think the load on the JetFan and Evo rotor are very close. A bench test with the 700-68-1200 would tell you. Maybe someone out there has run both rotors on an identical setup and can tell us if the loads are similar?
