ace simple AT-6
I just bought a ace simple series AT-6 texan today and was wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions. I need a good suggestion for a engine. No throttle needed, and rember I'm in the military so keep it as low cost as possible. we don't make what other federal employes do. the box says it'll take an 049 to an .051. i was thinking cox texaco for the duration, but let me have some suggestions please.

The biggest bang for the buck and easy to use is a AP .061 Wasp. With a Master Airscrew 6x3 prop.Dont try using a .049, I tried that with the Simple Extra and it didn't have enough power. You will need an engine mount and a 2 oz dubro tank. Go ahead and use the throttle it will make landing a lot easier.
you can order one from www.quantummodels.com
