This 5.8G 200mW (TX5823) 5v compatible ?

Hi all,

Until know I only found 5v compatible 200mw tx at FPVHobby but I found this one in aliexpress for 15$ only.

Do you know if it's a real 5v compatible module?
I've just received it, it's marked tx5823-101016.

Thanks for your help.
Vincent

Pas sur si ca va t`aider, mais les nano camera fonctionne sur 3.3V quand on enleve le regulateur. Alors il devient simple d`alimenter le TX et la cam tous les deux a 3.3V avec un regulateur lineaire comme celui de Flytron:
http://www.flytron.com/camera-transm...regulator.html

mais si tu utilise une cam qui doit avoir 5V, alors je comprend que tu veux un tx 5V aussi

nano cam 3.3V apres modification: http://www.foxtechfpv.com/fh10c-v9-12v-pal-p-531.html

They've sent me the datasheet and... this module seems 5.5v capable.

I use to power the video TX and the camera on the 5v ESC BEC.
That's a good news. This makes this module really cheap (15$ plus 4$ shipping) for a 200mw TX.

Hoping the datasheet is not lying

You will pull 250mA from your BEC. Be sure it have enough Amperage

Please look at the second page of the datasheet you received and look at PIN 4. Is it label as 3.3V power DC IN? Only first page shows 3.5 to 5.5V operating Voltage!

No problem Turnigy Plush 6A BEC can drive 800mA.

Good point! You are right the datasheet is quite ambiguous...
Anyone can try with 5V? ... before me

open it and check if theres a regulator :P
the 3.3v module will work on 1S lipos, it just heats and uhm, may eventually fail... dunno if a true 5v makes it burn right off.

hi, how low can voltage go without turning it of? maybe a diod will do the job from one cell lipo!?

Ibought one to try out
