Pretty cute there. I hope it flies nicely for you. Try to get some action photos or video.

My latest "design". I use quotes because I took about 4 different planes and shoved them together. Mainly the UM polecat, with it's wings and tail feathers.
Was definitely a fun build, and I was worried about using the UMX radian's propeller, but it works just fine with some glue added to the AP03's shaft to make it snug on the propeller.

It flies and handles just like the UM polecat, just way more fun because it's homemade obviously!

AUW is just over 39grams with a 250mah

Looks fast. Does it glide at all?

Glides a bit. I scaled the wing area up to about 57 square inches, which brings the cubic loading to around 5.5. Definitely handles some wind though!

How'd you link the elevator to the servo?

Pretty much took the idea from the UMX ask-21, and it's quite effective. The backwards swept tail helps as well, from not having such a steep angle to bend the push rod, though it is possible to do a full 90 degree turn at this size.

One of my small protractors had the perfect radius I needed so I laid it on the surface and scored 1mm deep or so. Then used some 2mm plastic pushrod guide tubes and cut 2 small pieces, gluing them on at the exact angle needed to be inline with elevator.

Very very small piano wire was used to create a connection between the wire and the elevator. I used pliers to hold the piano wire and a t-pin right next to eachother, then wrapped the wire around the t-pin to creat an open cylinder for the wire holding each elevator half to fit through.

This has got to be the coolest thing ever run by an AR 6400 if you do it!
