Hello,
I am moving to Germany in December and I would like to know a little about RC scene in Berlin. I fly electric only and largest plane I have is 50 size.
I read that there are a lot of restrictions for RC flight in/around Berlin. I also read that quite a few people are flying in Tempelhof, can I just get an insurence and fly my planes there (what is the largest size I can fly in Tempelhof)?

hey i konow its a very late response but yes you can get youself an insurrance and fly in Thempelhof http://www.tempelflieger.de/

Thanks WarbirdFan, I already got insurance and have flown at Tempelhof. It is nevertheless, very busy there (as it is a public park) and I thought it was too risky to fly anything bigger than a park flyer. I have been trying out different clubs around Berlin as Gastflieger to fly larger planes.

Your welcome, and if you like to check out different spots in berlin, try the lübars recreation park, much less crowed. But that only works if you fly electric, gas planes are not allowed there, check it out if you like, the new season starts soon happy flyin ucarkus
