Major crash #2 for my Piranha...

Behold, loss of depth perception, instructor said "go right", I went right. Instructor again said "go right", went right. Just when I realized I was headed in the trees it disappeared and I heard a loud crack. The trees got hungry and made an ornament out of it. I was getting pushed into the trees by some 8-10 knot winds and should have taken a more aggressive turn to get out of trouble.
Oh well, she is already glued back together and ready for the usual FFF reinforcement panels on the fracture lines.

Love this plane, I have really beat her up bad but she continues to fly well. Great design by Tony...

Those trees on the far side come at you fast! A little foam tac and all is well.
Enjoying the Martin 404 build as well. I flew on one in Southern livery from Dothan, Al to Panma City, FL in 1964. My first airplane ride!

Thanks Asher, good to hear from you. Rick N. told me to turn but I didn't turn enough! she went in on the north side of the tree line across the runway about 50 yards south of the end.

BTW, I still keep hearing comments about your drag queen, I heard one yesterday!
