EDF 64mm FFF Jet
Here is the start to my EDF Jet. I need to add wings yet and figure out if I'm going to do Aileron/Elev or just Elevon style like a flying wing. Specs are as follows:
Electrifly 4Ch Rx
Turnigy 25A Speed Control
Turnigy 2810 EDF Outrunner 3300Kv Motor
64mm Ducted Fan
HS-55 Servos (eventually)
1500mah Lipo, 20C, 3S
Don't know AUW yet, I'm thinking around 13oz (its at 10.1 right now with no wings or servos)
I need some kind of wing shape idea.
This thing can scoot itself fast across the wood floor. Its gonna be fast I hope. I shaped the body around 3 small 3" diameter soup cans and tapered the back end down to about 2" in diameter. This thing can move some air now! Before I had just put the EDF on a flying wing and it was ok but now with the taper its amazing.
Any suggestions before I finish this thing? I still need to find the cog once the wings are done but right now its about 5.5" from the front.
