I use an 808 #16 Lens D. You can buy them on eBay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/180937263580

It is a great little camera. Perfect for RC planes because it is light and takes good footage.

Here is the video from last weekend getting chased around by the magpie. There is a little bit of inverted flight and rolls. I'm still pretty new to aerobatics. Unfortunately the battery ran dead so the clip cuts off before my landing.

Ares Gamma 370 - A magpie gives chase while flying at Amaroo field in Canberra - 24/08/2014 (4 min 54 sec)

Unlikely! The postage to Australia costs more than the plane LOL. Looks like it flies nicely though.

I'm interested in getting warbirds. I have a couple of PZ planes set in my sights.

Sorry Hingo... Didn't realize the ridiculous shipping charges... A fail for Nitroplanes.

Hobbyking has the same wing called Tek Sumo... I believe.

I have the Micro T-28 Trojan... You are past that. Maybe the full size T-28???

Keep in mind the aerial footage from a warbird is a bit dizzying...

For aerial footage, the Radian is something you might be interested in... Power up to a crazy high height a glide forever with power off.... Awesome videos... I don't have one yet, but it's just a matter of time...

Again, thanks for sharing your video. I enjoyed it!!!!

Mike

Yeah I am looking at getting the full size T-28 from Parkzone. I don't have any interest in micros since they don't handle wind well. It is pretty windy all year round where I live. I'll probably pick up another PZ plane like a Spitfire or Corsair.

I'm not too worried about aerial footage as the Gamma does it nice enough for what I want. I am thinking of maybe getting a Bix3 once they get some in the Australian warehouse as a fun plane for video footage and gliding around. The Teksumo looks pretty cool. It is $41 from the Australian warehouse which is not far from me so postage would be cheap.

Warbirds are what interest me the most. I have been a huge fan of WWII aircraft since I was a young kid. Where I live, we have many of the real ones on display in the War memorial. They have a Zero, Lancaster, P-51 Mustang, P-40 Kittyhawk, Mosquito, Sea Fury, Me-163 Komet, Me-262, Bf-109, Mig 15 plus a few WW1 biplanes. Fantastic planes.

Sounds like the warbirds are your true passion.
They would make some awesome "ground view" videos for you to share with us....

Here is the contraption I use with my Mobius camera, it would work just as well with your 808.

Thanks for recording and sharing your videos...

Haha nice! I haven't recorded any ground videos because I prefer onboard video but I'll try to get a couple.
