Well, seeing how this is a no fly rainy day I'm finishing up the radio install and with the way I have it laid out the C/G is spot on. I have the ability to adjust it with the battery so I think I'm going this why with it.

I was starting to wonder if they would ever get them back in stock. The new one does look nice but I'm not a huge fan of white and red for visibility at high altitude. Add a bit of contrast with dark and fluorescent colors perhaps?

Cheers!

If I found myself in need of another Specter, Patatduif, I certainly wouldn't let the color scheme stop me. A few stripes of black or metallic blue and some fluorescent yellow or orange and even my old eyes should be able to see it. If not? I have more than 40 years worth of accumulated covering and I could always recover it in the colors of my choice. Even if one decided to buy a roll of transparent covering I would still consider it a heck of a plane for the price.

Cheers!

Have started assembly of my Specter 1800. Have used Hitec HS55 for v-tail. Just used melting glue in the bottom of the body and supported the with some balsa 6x6 on top.
Now to the wing. I have mounted the servos (HTX900) in the middel of the lid which made them fit without sticking out in the top. I am now ready to glue the wing together, but there is a wire 1,5x100mm which I dont know where to put. Can't find it in the manual sheet - only in the parts list.

Could be the wire that holds the canopy in place? On my specter that wire was already glued under the canopy.

No - its in place in mine too. Will save the wire for later. Only setting up linkage left and some waiting for a few days with dry weather.

Hi peter, I wonder if you could measure the pod for my batts, I use 18650 size in a triangle, so 36mm width is needed. Weight is about 125 grams.
I fancy a new glider and this one looks nice.
