Suggestions on New Plane

Hello All,

I really like the Sport Cub and would be interested in hearing your experience what other planes flight as smooth as the Sport Cub? It really looks good in the air and I like it that you can fly it slow.

Out of the 8 or so planes I have flown the Sport Cub hands down is my favorite.

I have flown the:

Ember 2
UMX Radian
Champ
Delta Ray
Super Cub S
Sport Cub S
F4U Corsair with Safe
Spyhawk FPV

The others have been ok but there is no comparison to the Sport Cub in my opinion.

I am looking for electric, slow flyer and something fairly easy to fly. Maybe in the 45-62 wingspan.

I have the Bix3 coming in a week or two.

If you like the Sport Cub S, why not get its big brother, the Parkzone Sport Cub?

What about the Storm Chaser 68 inch RC plane . Watch it go into glide after no power and just fly its way down to earth, It was so slow it took time for it to land. With no input from radio at all made a perfect landing in the field. The Champ and sport cub s fly good but not that good.

Hey j-i-s,
You haven't tried the Flyzone Sensei.....one of the finest gentle fliers on the market. It's my goto bird & always with me on every outing. Here's some vids you can examine.....

Haven't flown that one but have seen it, looked like a good flyer but I'm biased, love my Sensei. Looked to be a much easier as this thing lands easy due to the glide.

Have replaced my fuse 3-4 times, couple my fault and a couple were caused by a faulty tx antenna. Mine is beefed up with a larger motor, esc and a metal geared steering servo. You'll love it.

I highly recommend the Sensei. Flyzone just released a new version with something similar to AS3XYZ, but the regular Sensei flies so great you are good either way. Have fun and fly safe!!

Last upgrade was this motor:
http://www.headsuphobby.com/Firepowe...otor-E-717.htm

Previous one was the Sport model Firepower 15, that also worked well. Have replaced the bearings and shaft in this one and is sitting as a spare. One of their 40A ESC's was used.

Here's the servo for the steering/rudder:
http://www.headsuphobby.com/Towerpro...ervo-A-537.htm

Now has very good vertical and needs only a few feet of runway for takeoff. Motor fits in, with only minimal clearance, if you put a small washer between the mount and the motor can. This is needed because of the motor mount angle.

This flew well stock but like doing the Tim Allen thing, Arrrghh Arrghh!
