propping 4:1 geared 280

Can anyone recommend prop sizes for 4:1 geared 280's? Thanks.

Without a specific model, I can only recommend a range of props for that power system.

Use props from 7x6 to 10x4.7 depending upon the model and how you want to fly it.

Hobby lobby sells a range of models with the Horst 4 to 1 gear and the 280 motor.

Look in their web site for a model of similar size and weight to yours and see what they use. The amount of cells will also play a part in your decision.
