Hi Everyone, Just wanted to know if anyone has covered there barometer from light sensitivity and how they did it. I heard some people using superglue to put on the foam. Sounds scary. Thanks Roman

I use a thin piece of low-density foam rubber to allow easy airflow (about 1/16” thick). I use canopy cement to attach it and make sure that I keep the cement far away from the sensor. I would not recommend CA. Canopy cement can be easily removed with out damage to the board and CA can not.

We would never recommend glue of any sort, that just seems like a bad idea.
The cheap, simple, and safe way to go about this is to use a piece of small, airy foam and simply use masking tape, or scotch tape to hold this in place. Yes this does look kinda silly, but it works, and doesn't risk damaging or destroying your barometer.
The better way would be to simply secure your board in place with a case, and some foam between the top of the barometer and the case. Where might you get a case you ask?
If you have a green board, you can find this guy here selling ones for them.
Otherwise, if you have the newer PRO board you can contact us, as we have a case for those. Pictures at the link below.
