My port side TV elevator servo went out and I'm wondering how to know if it's normal or reversed to order the new one?

If you are flying RTF stock, since it is setup for elevon then it is probably normal, not reversed. You can do a test by connecting the starboard TV to the port connector and observing.

We all help each other, no matter how elementary the question and regardless of how many posts someone has under their name.

Still wouldn't tell me if it is reversed or not for ordering purposes. I just ordered 1 of each.

Garryk,
Try to disassemble the servo and usually it is just a stripped gear which can be replaced or swapped with any servo reverse or regular of the same brand/weight.
I have blown through TV servos too many times I lost count; and I found replacing the gear is much simpler than replacing the whole servo.

I have the version 1 servos and they don't say what they are on them. I noticed when I ordered the2 today (one reverse one normal) that they have brand stickers on them. So maybe in the future I can do that. I am also going to make some skids to protect them in the future.
