Waterproof coat needed for Krylon shortcuts?
I just painted a GWS Tiger Moth 400 on floats with Krylon shortcuts silver metallic. I'm wondering if I should give it an overcoat of something that will make it a little more waterproof (assuming the Krylon isn't). Would prefer foam safe rattle can. Suggestions?

I think that once the paint is dry it should be ok in water. You could put a coat of water base polyurethane over your paint job, either spray or brushed would work. I have used Minwax Polycrillic(spelling?) in spray and brush on. Dries fast and is waterproof, and will give a little more ding resistance.
