Free Nautilus (Disney) paper model

http://www.disneyexperience.com/models/20klus_model.php
Free...except for ink.
Paper models can be a challenge and can come out quite nicely with some effort.

Hello again

First, I would like to thank dll932 for posting the link.

Second, I care what scale it is since I was thinking of trying to match an existing company`s scale of the same model so If I need to I could buy from them any bits / parts so that my goal was to make an R.C version of this, not a little paper desk top figure.

I was kidding, but you could probably scale it to your needs.

Hello Again

Well I`m here again about this plan. I got my plan enlarged to what I wanted BUT after I read the instructions several times, I still can`t get past Step 2!!!!

I will admit, I have NEVER done a paper model, heck it`s been a LONG LONG TIME since I even did a simple puzzle.

Has anyone out there successfully put this together, no matter what scale it`s in?

Would you be willing to help me with some clarification, Simplified, this paper plan is beating me!

Hey dll932

Any chance you have tried to put this Nautilus puzzle together? I printed my enlarged copy out and read the instructions a few times and the puzzle is winning! I`m losing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't built it but here's a link to the NON free one:
http://www.nemonautilus.com/
The instructions for it are free, maybe they'll help.
Sorry I'm not much help. Paper models can be a challenge. It helps me to walk away and come back sometimes.

Nautilus help

George, I'm not an expert yet but will try to help,I have too many in my dry docks to start this one (stash).Looks to me step 1 is portside upper n lower of hull, step 2 (parts 3a-3d n 4a-4d) are to be assembled as upper lower of "out rakers" between upper n lower halves of the side hull which protrude out sides of hull when bent in dimentional configureation when you get that far. the small #'s on glue tabs indicate what parts they attach to..step 3 is the "voided" white area around the screw of port n starboard haives of parts 5a-5b bow keel rake..Hope this helps ..They are indeed a challenge my friend, take your time walk away, breath!!! git back at it...Tim.

Hi haxawsnavy

Thanks for your replies and YES I did send you an email about this.

This is what I have done so far. From the instructions.

Step 1 : I taped together (for me these are to be patterns for the hard shell build)
#1A to 1J in order.

Step 2: I taped together #2A to 2J in order.

I can`t see how to assemble the Lower hull and Upper Hull pieces from #1 and #2 ???????????????

HELP HELP

George
