It will be great if it can perform deep stall landing. A purpose build mounting for a downward facing camera in the pod will make it as a very capable long range mapping drone. Using 6S low C battery, low kv motor and high pitch propeller may become a good candidate to challenge 200 km.

true to all your points, and especially use a "folding prop"
when gliding..

What keeps it from getting torn up when landing. Here In Colorado that thing would take a beating!

Its gonna be hard to change, but what the benefit to have entire pod separate from the wing and boom. its very easy to break from the neck.

And overall this plane is hard to transport, and no specific good character to fly.

Different people have different opinion . We believe it will be a good guy for we have received may praise from the people who have seem it (not from picture).

Zeta has finished the final test for that plane by a famous coach from a famous UAV training school. It is under trail producing now.

Have you put a camera inside the nose and shot video with it yet?
Sure looks like the prop will be in view of the camera, and that's with a tri-blade.
A bigger standard 2 bladed prop would definitely be in front of the camera.
The original idea behind this shape was to put the prop *above* the pod,
out of view of the camera, but the concept seems to have been distorted
and the last two designs I've seen, put the prop too far forward to the point
that it's visible from inside the dome.

The dome will get scratched up badly. There have been several FPV and A/V aircraft
with clear plexi domes and they always get scratched up, even just landing
in tall grass.

I'm sure it flies great, and will be nice and quite compared to the average pusher,
but it's not a great FPV platform.

I agree with Daemon on all his points.
I have been flying both the Go Discover and RVJET for the last 6 months and can confirm that the domes are too vulnerable on landing and reflections from them make recorded video useless for anything other than a record of the flight.
It also needs some sort of landing gear for day to day use, maybe some sort of plug on dolly device. Does the 'deep stall' landing technique work with a large payload?
George.
