Same plane same setup, this time with uOSD

FPV Hobbyking Dragonfly with uOSD and RSSI.26-6-2015 (12 min 55 sec)

flew today and can say that this firmware supersedes the cl-osd, although
cl-osd is also very good. thanks to all the developers!

don't put any device near the gps antenna as this will drop all the satellites.
I had the hobbyking HD wing camera just beneath the gps --> no satellites
when removed I had 5 satellites instantly. it takes about 1min30 seconds to
lock the GPS.

I have just discovered this thread and I wam super excited to get started on this! I have just a couple questions that I havent been abvle to answer with my searches.
1) Will cl-osd work on both the g-osd2 and g-osd 3? I have one of each

2) Is ther a more centralized resource for all this information on these 275 pages, like a summary of the main points of issues and advice for flashing etc.?
Thanks!

I accidentally flashed my OSD using the altmega88 chip setting instead of the altmega88PA setting. Now I believe that it is toast.
Would that be enough to brick this board?

ripping my hair out guys..

Hey everyone. Just been trying for hours to flash this thing..
I think I have it soldered fairly cleanly (for me at least), the pins are correctly matched up(?)
One thing that makes me wonder is that unlike what I saw in a youtube vid that detailed this process, whilst the led on my usb burner stick came on when I plugged it in, the led on the OSD came on steadily, and did not flash when plugged in.. Is this relevent?
Its been a long day, so maybe Im just missing something obvious..

Ive been trying to use extreme burner. Any helpful folks want to give me some clues?

I never had success with this process. Try the U osd with the configurator.

Thanks for that link.. I read through the first few pages of that thread, and the critical point to me seems to be..

When i plug in my osd to usb programmer, then into computer..

The usb programmer led is steady on, and the osd led is steady on, NOT flashing like it should be..

All my solders are ok, no bridging, pinouts look correct, although therere two gnd pins on my usb programmer and im not sure which to connect to..

Any ideas please?
