Don't know why I can't find a direct answer to this quesion, there have been a number of people mentioning they were going to check, but no answers.

The V959 camera has 4 wires into it, ground, power, and two extras. Since there needs to be a signal to take pictures and start and stop video, one wire could be used for each, or the signal might be carried through a single wire, leaving the yellow for video.

Anyway, I don't want to bother buying one if it dosn't have video out. If it does, it would be a great little FPV camera at a fraction of the cost of the 808 16 v2. No hd, but for the price.... Given the flood of little FPV copters, I would not be surprised if they built it this way planning on building a FPV module.

If you have one, and fly FPV, please check the yellow wire and let us know.

There is no 'video out'

White wire is for triggering single frame photo.

Yellow wire for triggering video recording.

No vid out.

If you buy an 808 #16 (Massive RC carries them), it has video out capability through the mini USB port (you may have to search threads to find the review of how to do it). So one of the other quads in that size range could easily handle the camera and give you vid out.

Thanks for the quick answers. I have a 808 16 v2, and have used it along with a 200mw 5.8 out on a syma x1. It was too heavy though, so I used a modified micro camera. I was hoping that the v959 might be a light cheap alternative to the 808.
