Great tests falconerider !
Thanks again Isoprop for the tip on the US lens supplier. I got a "B" lens and that fixed my broken cam. The image is cleaner and better focused than the orginal lens was before I broke it trying to re-focus it.

As reading Post 1-5 you will find your answer to your questions, if not do a search with key words for the issue at hand it may lead you to some of the posts, that have simular issues.

a) battery.

b) micro cards

battery,

you need to determine if its the battery and you can check voltage, disconnect ,run external power ( usb battery pack) sources. if all works well it is the battery losing charge

micro card

clear all off info in card, no firmware files correct format... swap cards. if all works well it is the card

First thing will be to make sure the card is clean, files firmware all off, then work on the battery, if not the card and if the bat, for some currancy you can order a new battery. and that may clear up your issue if, IF the battery has reached its time?

If the cam is left in the card reader, with the red light on, could it possiably be draining the battery itself, and the camera is not charging? so make sure it's charged , green light?

I found myself in a simular situation, and things worked out by trouble shooting the situation at hand card, battery charge.

Remember cold wx affects run time of camera , again welcome aboard and hope you find your answer.
Ah fishy, you have changed your ways.
But you forgot to point him to your own thread where you have full editorial control.

This is strange: I see only small differences in contrast, but big differences in colour warmness/coolness.
Like victapilot, Bill Bergman and others have posted, these are excellent examples and exactly what the developer is looking for. I'm sure he's most grateful and I'm sure we'll all profit from your hard work in a future firmware version.

Do an eBay search for "Micro 1.25 2-Pin Connector" and you should get a few hits.

But remember - YOU MUST INVERT THE WIRES! Very easy to do with a tiny jeweler's screwdriver.

I'll repeat - the wires must be inverted or you'll destroy your camera - remember this - switch them all as soon as you receive them!

OK, thanks, I got it.
Another name is ”Mini Plug Extention for Micro Battery”. With this name I found the connector plugs in my country. At about $1/cable., but this is another story.

Thanks to you and Tom also Isoprop!

Had some clear sky at last, and I can confirm no fading to gray with the Fluorescent setting. That was already posted by Tom, but I want to check with the sun in my back, which is how I like to fly RC I can show video of auto 0.36 and this, but believe me it's now much more stable for white balance.

This is a frame grab, B lens, Fluorescent [4] and saturation [3], all others at default.

The lens B does have vignetting and center hotspot - burns the center highlights, see the fence. I like the lens D better, but this will do for now. Thanks!

I'll fly, maybe tomorrow, to check the green stability.

It's not fully true.

I'm using cable similar to this one from ebay and it's wired correctly for our cameras ->

Negative on the left

Positive + on the right.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-Mini-J...item232320478c

Anyhow -> double check your setup before connecting power !

Your last sentence is the main point... test the polarity on any new plug wires... don't rely on wire colors or anything else!

I much prefer the Lens A over the lens B for the reason you gave... hot spot and vignetting exposure and color shift. There is really only about 7-8 deg. FOV difference between the two, not nearly enough difference to put up with the downside to me. But that's just me! YMMV.

Better quality also come with editing, and touching up colors. setting up certain settings will defeat, and take away definition. Ther are some excellent vids out there that demostrate about making a better video?
