I installed and tested by moving on all axis,the control surfaces only move a small amount.Gains are all the way up. Control surf. move normally when using sticks.I am using dx5,but recently purchased dx7. could it have something to do with transmitter? receiver is 6 channel.

I haven't used the eagle tree but did use another 3 axis gyro the orange x. And control surface movements were small. I think that it reacts quickly enough that small inputs are all that is needed. If you have too large movements, the danger of airframe shaking oscillations result.

I think the recommendations are that you start with just perceptable movement when you twist it about by hand.
