Joe,
It looks interesting, any photos of how the uc is positioned? Are you going to have a go at one?

Awesome design. A prototype - even a model - would be great.

Who knew a gyroplane could be much cheaper in operating cost than a mid-size, five-seat, turbine helicopter?

Hi Guys,

Im looking for this Thing for a while now, but Iīm not that good in creating a Plan based on this rare informations.

For my first attempt I tried to scale up a Screenshot but now I found this:

http://www.google.com/patents/US20120068006

Wonder if the rudder will create enough force to manage the steering in case that itīs Position is that near to the vertical axis?
What do you think?

Regards

Markus

The UC looks to small and is a disaster waiting to happen, apart from that I reckon it will fly if the fin area is enough.

Hey Rich,

think the main Problem is to get the child out of it and back home!!!

I found this gyro months ago (not the "sweet" link) and tried to begin making a plan out of a scaled up screenshot.

I think this design is great for a two bladed head

This link I found purely by chance, while searching a picture from the UC.

I thought about making the fin area bigger, means to make the gyro a little longer!

Another thought was, if the fin area is to small then try to combine the rudder with a sideways vector steering of the motor.

Would mean the steering wouldnīt work well if the motor is shut down.

What do you think?

Regards
Markus

Looking Great!

But you have to cut your Tailplane off in Order to Test the Rudder
