Update: Mother-in-Law is coming to stay with us a couple of weeks too.

Hoss, hurry up with that Man-cave, I need a place to stay. Or, alternate, Steve, I could use a bike/road trip.
You are invited to be a guest instructor at our club on Long Island, NY. We think about 2 weeks should be enough time for you to get all the newbies flying.

Instructor, Ed? Trust me, you guys do NOT want me teaching.

Still mad at myself for not contacting you when I went to LI for a week. I literally had a box van completely full of sailplanes and 5 days with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs. I thought I would be there overnight but it turned into a week.

Heaven forbid! I was working with this definition:
Persnickety: 1. a. Overparticular about trivial details; fastidious.

And I do NOT consider being "overparticular" a bad thing. (Then again, I have a touch of OCD. )

And just to keep the record straight, Sean.... I'm STILL searching for a decent slope up in Clarke County. So far, they all have pine trees covering them! But the loggers are cutting as fast as they can!

Hoss, tell them that you are an entomologist and you've been studying the pine tree beetle for years. According to your highly funded research all pine trees will be gone from that area in 4 months, and that they need to get this stuff cleared out ASAP for future generations. That way we can be sloping by, say October.

Pine beetles are eating their way thru Montana at an alarming pace, nasty little creatures. I'll send a few your way.... AL will look like South Dakota in a couple of weeks

Time better spent cover your Sagitta Might just have a good weekend coming up for a little soaring at Red Hen.
I got the V tail repaired on the Osprey, cut the wing open to look at the damage. Looks like an easy repair and it should be ready to fly this weekend. Did find out the V tail mount was crack, CA fixed that.
Really need to be spending time on the new one.

Oh, and I'd love to see some interior pictures of Joe's Osprey also, he already knows I'm keen on building one, when the time is right. C'mon Joe!
