XPS Wish list

Hmm... with the announcement of change of management, JD was talking about polls etc.. for future development. Just thought I would put a list of what I would like to see in order of getting it (ie units actually in stock)...

1. Nano rx's (6/9/12)
2. Carbon Fuse compatible RX's
3. Handheld Telemetry module
4. Eagletree sensor interface box
5. XPS tx

My personal preference would be to have the TX in the second position

Yeah, that is a different carrier board. The new receivers are designed to use the DivBee module (or I guess I could also do it with the remote Nano too... hmmm). Whatever features are added to the carrier board would control the servos - like gyros.

Funny... I was just thinking that we can do a gyro board right this second. There are several 'copter' boards that take a PPM data stream or Spektrum input. This can be programmed for gyro functions and used with the Nano today. I still want to add Spektrum compatible output to the Nano so the frames are faster than a PPM stream.

the Nano can already output a ppm stream of all the channels... this can plug into some of the gyro products already out there. the Spektrum format data stream will be faster when it's done.

Correct. It is possible right now to use one of the gyro boards with our Nano to give you 3 axis stabilization for some type of device. So, in the case of an aircraft you could stabilize yaw, pitch, and roll.. and also buffer the throttle and other things that those boards can do.

No company wants to build them because of liability reasons. Anything other 50VDC can kill you, so nobody seems too excited about making >14S controllers.
