does anyone have plans for a lazybee? preferably to take a 049 or a 020?

You want the Clancy Ladybug. I built one with an 049 surestart that flew excellent. I'll see if I can dig up a pic. But here are the plans.

but how do i enlarge the plans for a 049 engine?

This plan is good for .020 to .051 engine, Clancy's design have a wide power range (very light will fly on TD .020, a regular reedy .049 has about the same power but swing a bigger prop).

The drawing appears to be originally about 29" x 47". Somewhere in Adobe Reader, you should be able to find the dimensions of the original. I used Apple's Preview application, but, as I said, Adobe Reader should be able to display the same information.

Should be No problem using /printing with Adobe Reader Just select tile all pages and select 100% for scale .
Over on the preview windowto the right (double click on it) you will see the plan with a lot of dotted lines showing all the pages that comprise it.
Click on Print .. then spend an hour pasting all the sheets together :-)

Now I can build another! Good thing, too, as I gave away my original plan sheet and my old Ladybug has picked up all sorts of weird flight behavior (even for a Ladybug) through a series of sub-par repairs...

Loving that Clancy Ladybug! I have a few Cox's hanging around and am thinking of giving them a home, could be the next candidate.
