Lipo Cell Voltage Rise when Discharging
Has anyone seen a rising voltage on a lipo cell when discharging thru a tail-light bulb being monitored with DVM. The rise went on for a few minutes and then began a normal voltage decay afterwards
I was testing a 1550 Tanic cell 12C discharging thru a 10V 25W tail-light type bulb.

If LiPos are below their ideal temp. then yes a moderate to heavy drain will raise the temp , and the volts come up.
That is the reason in the cold I fly(push) Li Pos hard for the first minute or so to get their jucies flowing just like warming your automobile on a frosty morn'.
Here is a link to another example. Note the Green line for the Kokam 1500.
