You suggested to check if the base is pushed right up. Not sure if you mean the base of the motor? If so, I think it's pushed right up. The rod does not look loose. So I think it's probably motor ![]() EDIT: I think I found the problem: I found a crack in the "offending" motor. Bummer! More wait! ![]() Does anyone know of an Australian outlet selling LB parts? And thanks heaps for your help muck76! |

Y,
Try some CA glue and clamp it until it dries for 20 minutes or so. That should get you going again while you source another spare arm or two. Cheers, Jim Quadrocopter and Tricopter Info Mega Link Index |

Y,
Your favorite superglue that works on plastics should be fine. Cheers, Jim Quadrocopter and Tricopter Info Mega Link Index |

Yup. Great fun...
It was my first flight in which I learned: * how quick the LB is * how easy it is for a beginner to lose control of it * how bad I am at flying... ![]() So now the glue is drying while I'm waiting for delivery of parts. Hopefully the glue job will give me a few minutes of flying, enough to impress my son... |

Unfortunately glue did not do the trick. The LB still flipps forward and sideways and will not take off. Is there a way to change the rotation speed of an individual motor using the 7E? Is it worth giving the motor a bit of extra power? This is temporarily, until my spare parts arrive. |

Not sure how this will help. There is nothing to secure with a zip tie. The only unusual movement is the blade + hinge, which move up/down about ˝mm more than the other blades. Otherwise the motor has no other play/movement which can be secured with a zip tie.

Looking at your pic a zip tie wrapped around the cracked part may help pinch that crack tighter against the tube so it wouldn't flop around when activating the motor. If that silver elbow is not really moving but the shaft and motor are out of line, maybe the shaft is slightly bent. |

Although the crack was in the "silver elbow", it did not move at all. Not before and not after I glued it. What is moving is the shaft and blade. They have an up/down movement which is about ˝ mm more than the other 3. The shaft does not look bent but maybe I should take it aout and check. Is it possible to take the motor apart? Also: is it possible to change the speed of an individual motor using the 7E? |

I cannot answer the speed movement. If we cannot change to fly in a + pattern I'm guessing not.
Ok up and down movement. Can you push the lower cap up further onto the motor. They sometimes do drop. On my Helimax 1SQ, HM goes as far as telling the owner to remove the rubber pad and push up inside the hole with a blunt object. Not sure if these motors are set up the same. But I'm guessing the motor endbell dropped. |
