let me put a Yak 54 into the "basket" - 'course that doesn't prove it is in stock but you'd kind of hope they wouldn't take an order if it wasn't in stock!

I want to make sure I have it in time to beat the crud out of it before big spring

I am going to build Stringflys F3a bipe when he pubs the plans. I wonder if we should think about having some F3a competitions here in Dallas or for fun at BS?

Kirby,
Very few of the SU-27's came in to the states last week and from what Ikarus told us, none of the Yak's did yet. If any Yaks did come in, I would assume that Dion @ OMP got them since he is a big seller of them here in the US at www.shockflyer.com .
I have a few of them on pre-order and just waiting for them to arrive ! I did get 2 copies of Aerofly Pro Deluxe and they already are sold ! I wish they had given me more.

Just bought myself a YAK for Xmas today and one for a friend. I saw one flying last Saturday at our indoor meet. Am looking forward to getting it airborne. The instructions are in color! and the parts are cut perfectly and just pop out, ailerons already cut of course. It was flying very well in knife edge. The wingspan is 2 inches longer.

Update!

Hi all,
I just spoke with Ikarus USA in Florida. The gal said they are in the states, and the truck is to arrive on the 23rd. She would not commit if I would get my order (F3A ) placed in early November, but said it was highly likely that mine would ship in the first batch at the end of the week. She also said they are closed Friday (lucky suckers!)

Also, I pressed for a lil more nfo. All the new kits are pretty much on backorder, and confirmed that the SU-27 is a sport jet, not designed to 3D.

Slappie Holidays, and Slappie New Year! all
Rich

The SU-27 has a thread in the Parkflyers section , it is a fast indoor jet with a 12mm sized brushed motor mounted mid-ship as a pusher. I have a few people anxiously awaiting the new Yak's though !!
