South Davis Modelers Losing Field
Guys,
I would give everyone a heads up. In February 2013, The South Davis Modelers in Centerville. The flying field southwest of Lagoon on I-15 and Legacy Highway is losing the field. We are looking for a new location. The club just made the announcement this week.  Tom |

what are the owners going to do with the land? Perhaps you can find something further west.

Sorry to hear this. Hope you can find another location soon. Unfortunately, further west is pretty much swamp all the way to the lake.

That's sad news. I had a great time over the summer flying at Gene West Field. The pilots were always friendly and welcoming, and it was a fantastic place to spend a morning shooting landings with the Velox R1. Here's hoping the club can find a new field and keep things going.
