Slopin on a sea wall

I tried slopin a local sea wall, saw the birds flying and gave it a chuck, was surprised the lift was pretty good though the lift band was pretty narrow!

Sea Wall (4 min 59 sec)

It's surprising what you can slope. I used to travel for business and I kept a Wing Warrior Zipper (36" wing) and TX in the car for opportunity-flying. Here are just some of the odd things I re-purposed as a slope:

A string of rail boxcars on a siding.
A line of tractor-trailer rigs parked nose-to-tail.
A 3-story motel.
A giant warehouse.
A row of eucalyptus trees.

I didn't do it for the attention, but I almost always drew a crowd of curious spectators. At the Motel I even had a whacked-out gal accuse me of sorcery.

Yeah, really.

Pete

There was a retired guy who came out of his apartment especially in his motor wheelchair who watched and we had a good old chinwag about his career flying hawker hunters!

Gonna try it again later, wind is 20-30 and i might try the fish!
