Boscam GS920 with T8FG headtracking

hi, I just received a FPV goggles from HK for 350 dollars and it says Boscam GS920 on the box. I've been searching for info on this goggles on the net but couldn't find anything about setting up the head tracking on this. I'm trying to get the head tracking working but don't know where to start. I have a Futaba T8FG and using R6008HS RX. i know the manual said to use channel 5 and 6 but i'd like to use channel 6 and 7 cuz i need channel 5 for autolevel on my KK2 board. Any help with setting up the headtracking step by step would be appreciated and thankyou.

Ive gone to FUNCTION and set channel 7 & 8 CTRL to SG switch instead of the trainer switch. Then i went to TRAINER and set to FUNC 100% on both 7&8 channel. I hooked my goggle thru the trainer port of my radio. Turned on my radio then my goggles, then turned on my pan tilt last. Nothing..... Pan tilts when i flip the switch but doesnt move ehen i move my goggles around. Did i miss something?

I finally got some progress. I went to TRAINER and set channel 7 to MIX with channel 5. Pan is working now but no tilt. I went to TRAINER again and set channel 8 to mix with channel 5 but still no tilt. I know its something simple but its hiding from me.

Do you have a screen on your Fuataba radio that show bar graph for each channel?
per example if you move the aileron stick, you see the bar move on your radio screen. When the headtracker work properly, you see the bar moving on this screen. It could help to find the problem

You can set ANY channel to work with the tracker via the trainer menu.
Boscam Goggle does have PAN and TILT.
The manual says Ch 5 & 6 but that is JUST AN EXAMPLE.

Sorry if this sounds like a hacked tutorial but you really need to understand several basic concept. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.
1. For safety reason, trainer function usually turned on when you hold the SH switch. But you can set it to ANY switch you like.
2. You can set any channel to any switch (and mix it, whatever) in your T8FG. Thats the reason why you pay so much for that transmitter: because its computerised.
3. The goggle can send its signal (PAN & TILT) to any channel (1 to 8) you like. You can choose and set it up from the google menu.

Official tutorial: http://www.rc-cam.ru/manual/GS920_ma...o7ektv1355elu2

Now for a little additional tutorial.. I set mine to work for Ch7 and Ch8, btw.
1. in T8FG: SYSTEM > TRAINER // page 2/4 looks like this

5 GEAR OFF
6 VPP OFF
7 AUX5 NORM
8 AUX4 NORM

Note that GEAR, VPP, AUX, whatever is almost just a label.
You can set any channel to be ANYTHING you like in the Function menu.
But thats beyond this "tutorial"
Just remember that you might have different label and thats ok.
2. in T8FG: SYSTEM > TRAINER // page 4/4 looks like this

ACT OFF
SW SF
12/8CH 8CH

Note that ACT only have to options: INH (means not used) and ON/OFF
The above example (OFF) means I haven't switch it on.
SW is basically what switch you want to use to turn it on/off
Default was SH, but I want to use SF. You can change it to ANY switch you like.
3. in the goggle menu.. I set

[2] PAN CH SELECT CH7
[3] TILT CH SELECT CH8

You can experiment with PAN RANGE, TILT RANGE and stuff like that
Thats about it really.
Remember that you have to turn it on for the trainer system to work.
And the power button on the goggle double as "reset button". Because the gyro will drift and if might be confusing and you need to reset your "normal position". You'll understand once you press it and see how it works.

**

NOW.. for the love of god..
I still don't understand the concept of HOW TO REVERSE the movement.
I have correct tilt but my pan is reversed.
I tried to reverse the channel on Tx but that doesn't seems to affect the trainer signal.

Help, anyone?

I don't know on the 8fg but on the 12fg you change it in the trainer menu your pan & tilt channel need to be set to FUNC then you can change the rate to -100 to reverse the travel for that channel. I would assume the 8fg has the same trainer options.
