whats up David. Yea saw that, think it was called on the ball rudder. might turn that on. I'm totally done flying line of sight so i guess it's a good of time as any to get used to something like that. The plane has 45 degree wingtips that kinda fakes dihedral so just using the rudder was what i started doing at the end. It's weird when your so used to something and everything about how you fly it changes. weird

love this thing, and best of all it's a telink.

Yes, you can trim the plane while in 2D mode and it will do what you expect. Of course if you leave 2D mode the trim will affect the off or 3D mode if you don't move it back. For pitch control on all my planes I use a couple of mixes that each add a few percent (3-5) of up elevator. If I reduce the throttle I just flip a switch (or more) and the new elevator setting tells the Guardian to apply some up elevator. It works great even without using the Guardian.

Hey any of your guys ever heard of BL-3GRC (ICE-MAN) by Blue Light Technologies?

Gyro range

x 7 RC transmitter inputs (Pitch, roll, yaw + 4 real time switches
x 6 RC aircraft outputs (Aircraft servos / ESC motor speed controllers)
- Applications: RC airplane, heli, multi-copter, gyro evaluation, platform
..stability, general robotics, teaching aid
- In-built full speed mini USB for set up and testing (incl firmware upgrade)
- Supports all RC transmitters, servos and controllers (Independent I/O)
- Multiple input curve options, incl x4 user defined (11 pts)
- x 3 PID contollers (programmable)
- Special anti-crash and cross wind take off features for novice teaching

I found it online at http://www.bluelight-tech.com/products.htm. This one is only $50. Just wondering how it is compared to the Guardian. It seems to have more inputs and outputs possibly for dual servos in larger planes that have both Elevator and Aileron dual seervos.

Anyone heard of it, used it, or know of any reviews on it?

I have a new Eagle Tree Guardian 2d/3d just got it in the mail this week. Going to try it out this weekend, but always looking for newer better technology. Thanks

Great price, I ordered two more. I now have 6 Guardians total. These will evaporate in a heartbeat and be on backorder for months.

They don't show any evidence of it. I'm thinking they are the real thing.

HK have pretty massive purchasing power.

John,

Hobbyking has sold Eagletree items before. Their lower price will force down sale at full list price from other retailers. Isn't competition great?

Now that I already have $300 of them already at full list price and another $100 ordered today from Hobbyking I have concludedm $400 total is enough! I could have bought a new DX8.

They arent hard to launch, just underarm the plane @ 45 deg with lots of throttle.

easy launch every time

Mine has had a few accidents and Ive never got the thrust angle right since, it tends to do what it likes on launch, It was easy but not anymore lol
