Just back from the inland slope, flying my 1,6 m Mega Wisel, and also a standard Wisel was in the air, doing a little combat

My new st, Wisel covered with the Brown paper, will be in German ww2 warbird style.

With a light fiberglass fin, (a bit of the tailplane from a crashed fiberglass glider)

Now thinking of the shape of a ww2 Wisel fuselage... and did they have motor...

Cheers

Soren, your bird looks like a Messerschmitt ME-163 Komet, which had a rocket engine embedded in the fuselage. Perhaps you could use a electric ducted fan motor?

PS - or even just put a small motor/prop in the nose...like this one.

Hitler's last secret weapon, has just been found in a hidden basement in northern Denmark,

Now the ailevons are cut in the wing, servos are in the wing, and a dummy pulsjet on the back, just missing the pushrods,
Maiden soon, if the weather permit it.

Or at least in the weekend where the weather will be perfekt for the DS dune.

Cheers

She-hite mussleman!

Do I love the video (wish I had a slope like that to practice on), the flying, and of course, the historically correct swastika.

There is a chap called Extremesports, who has provided plans for a FW190 electric/slope correx design. Somehow it appeals to me..... (too many Spitfires around here).

The PSS Wisel at the dunes for the first time.
26 knot Wind and no extra ballast. A real pleasure to fly

After a hard weekend with much DS with beginners and with 600 gram ballast and many crashes, the small Wood wing gave up.

So now I have glued in a full span aluminium I profile.
And reinforced ailerons, and fuselage.
And its now ready for more DS action.
