The Cool Way to retrieve your plane at Fermin

Okay, so it was a pretty hot day, and Ian has been having a little communication issue w/ his planes lately. So, rather than risk another "bounce off the bunker, strain it through the fence and sweep up all the pieces from the street" type landing, he opted for the soft soothing watery landing.

How was the swim, Ian?! Better to replace electronics than a new model. Looks like one of your better models.

That looks like a great way to get all the Eagle dust out of it. I wonder if it was really that dirty though

It was probably covered in basswood and fiberglass.

What's the water temp out there this time of year? Mid 60s on the northern New England coast.
