How did you get round the issue of fixing the stabiliser other than epoxy and self-tapping screw and passing the elevator servo lead through to the fuselage? Have to bear in mind that some day might need to remove the stabiliser to replace servo extension or lead......
Hey Phil

I installed blind nuts through the rear tail wheel hole. Taped a flat magnet at a 45 to a square piece of wood. Put a bright white led into fuse to see. Inserted to where the hole was then put on screw with washer and tightened slowly till nuts sunk into wood. For the servo I removed the leads from the connector. Opened the hole in the stab a bit more. Feed wires through and put back into socket. Had to open the hole for the extension lead as well (made it square) in the fuse.

Hi Martin. I decided on locating pins for stabiliser and then epoxied it on. Then just forward of the stabiliser leading edge and just below, I cut out a mini servo hole in the fuse, glued small pieces of 5mm ply behind to take the servo screws. Servo is Hitec 225MG. I used my own 2mm hardware to connect. The rudder is using closed loop wire set-up. Rudder servo in pre-cut position (Spektrum A6000)

Using HS125 Slims for flaps, installed after a bit of cutting about but stuck momentarily for two more HS125 Slim Wing servos for ailerons (back order)

I used the fly fly horns throughout but the rest of the hardware I junked

In the meantime I will install the AR7610 RX and set up flaperon system on the DSX9 using dummy servos for ailerons temporarily. Each servo has it's own channel. Not sure yet wether to motorise it or slope only

Definitely Jack, lots of dealers (particularly in the UK) carry FlyFly (I'm sorry, I can't remember which)..

Thank you woodstock. It seems like I won't get away any cheaper than ordering directly from Hong Kong.

I got mine direct from hobby88. Not to many dealers around I could find without getting dinged heavy for duties.

EFPLC, can you explain what you did with the wheel mod? I've eaten two tires on two flights.
