Does anyone have a Wemo MF 002-4 adapter they can measure for me? I have the Wemo MD 002-4 and I know they fit the CS10 perfectly and want to know what the differences are.

Thanks.

I am using Tamjets adapters, though Extreme has excellent adapters also.

Thanks but I prefer the wemo's. I've had excellent results with them.

Thanks, I know the size of the CS10 as I have several of them. I also have the Wemo MD 002-4 adapters that I use on CS10 as stated above so I know they will fit.

What I would like are the measurements of the Wemo MF 002-4 to see if that one will fit since it has a hole in it for you to brace it with a screwdriver while tightening the rotor nut. I know that this adapter fits a 4mm shaft, hence the -4, could someone provide the shaft o.d. and length?

Thanks.

Shaft grip and tightening tip:
Find a set screw that fits the spinner screw thread of your adapter and screw it in about 1/8 deeper than the shaft end,
Use your Zona Saw or Dremel and cut a groove/slot through the end, blow out the shavings, ad a drop of machine oil then extract the set screw with your allen key and clean up! Now you got a slot for your screw driver soaz yew kin tyten yer fan nut brotha! (Same thing if drilling a thru hole)

Good info, thanks. I've drilled a hole in a couple of my Wemo adapters. Just trying to save an extra task.

My first motor Hofman beast EDF motor.
Rewind to 12T, 20AWG, 55 in wire,

No load.

1.78A, 11.25V, 19750 rpm, 1755 Kv.

With EDF Changesun 70mm 10b.

4slipo. 22.75A, 14.43V, 23,800rpm, 94% NLS.
6slipo2200ma ., 41A, 21.83V, 33,000 rpm, 86.1% NLS. 895 watts.
(two 3slipo pack in series.)
Thrust was not measured, but maybe over 1400 g.

This is a very inexpensive combination for a foamy EDF.

Unfortunately it seems that this motor is no longer available.

I get 33K+ rpm from the 2W25 at 870 watts so is it really worth rewinding what was a fairly expensive motor before they were cleared out? Not knocking you just saying 33K rpm is 1.4kg thrust in round figures.

at 1 time not long ago they were cheap like < 20 bucks but at the kv they were i can see why they had trouble getting rid of them .....a real battery bbq

so in that respect maybe the quality bits and bearings? would make it worthwhile rewinding.

Possibly the last motors that were sold,
I could buy 2 motors for only 27 dlls including shipping.

1.4 kg is fine for my model.
I thought it was 1.5Kg or more according to data published by others on this forum.

I did a test with EDF mounted on a Starmax F5 today.
22Volts, 45A, 990 watts.

My second motor:
I test inside starmax F18 rewind (13t, 1678Kv.) in 70mm XRP 14b EDF.

6s 2200ma, 42.5A, 22.5Volts, 956 watts.

For sure at the price if you can rewind them to a usable Kv they are a good option. I did a lot of testing with the 10b and 1.42-1.45 is what I saw at 33,200-33,500rpm.
