I think he said a 3 cell, so 12Volts. He had a 1400kv motor so 16,800 RPM.
I think the strength could be improved if a ring were cast around the blades, and if the blades locked in a "T" slot at the base, rather than just glued in.

Not entirely sure I can make it now. I've got a backhoe in the yard and am servicing my drain field.

What a glorious night of flying. A bit muggy but otherwise perfect. These late summer evenings offer some of the best flying, and it's starting to get dark earlier, so we even get some night flying in. Greg, Dave, Mike, John, "new" Rob, and "new" Tom all join in a great evening. No significant thermals, but no mishaps either.
