Coro Float Plane?!
Hello all! a few of us in MT are trying to pass the winter by building some coro projects.... We are gonna try to design/build a single hull coro 40-60 size water ship. The thought is to make a box(ish) fuse, then epoxy/glue a foam hull to the bottom, as it would be damn tricky to get the coro to get in that shape, and make it waterproof to boot!
I'm thinking a trick to get it to balance well is to melt some wheel weights to shape and put em in the bottom of the foam, to get the sailboat keel effect....
Then a bolt on a wing with pod mounted engine above like your standard "Lake" airplane.
Any thoughts/tips/tricks/advice/warnings?
cheers from MT
