Simple Dollar Tree foamboard RC ( skirtless ) hovercraft
Made from 1 piece of Dollar Tree foamboard , some hot glue , packing tape , and popsickle sticks . 1 motor ( on throttle channel ) in can for lift . 2nd motor ( on elevator channel ) for thrust . Just disable the + wire on one of the ESC's going to the receiver so only ONE of the ESC's powers the receiver . Rudder servo can go on either rudder or aileron channel .
Works best on smoother surfaces . If you're going to use it outdoors , put something like window screen material at the bottom of the lift can to keep tiny rocks from kicking up into the prop . Works great for drifting !

For the lift motor ( in the Instant Breakfast can ) I used the stock motor and ESC off of a crashed Hobby King SkyFun . It's 1800kv with a 25 amp ESC . For the thrust motor I used this combo from Lazertoyz ( third item down this page on left side ) http://www.lazertoyz.com/shop/specials.htm
