Friday
Hmmm... a bit of heavy side... if my 3m ARF BoT ended under 2kg, with 300 grams lead in nose that will disappear soon, by changing some layout

I think the lightest I can get is no less than 1,57kg the most, by changing wing servos to 13gr servod, while now I have park servos (20gr).

As it appeared from the beginning, I needed lead in front, but decided to go with a heavier battery 3s 3000mah as far fwd as possible and moved servo tray fwd too.

I ll do the mod with the servo and check back.

Last flight though at 12kn winds I was blown back and only with reflex I could penetrate upwind. Maybe I needed ballast that day.

Two times per week. That is roughly 3 hours/week

Relaxing... No bloody not... How can it be when you flying a dot moving on sky...

Otherwise, you can combine lounge music too.

Cmon you want to be teased man

Some new findings...

I have further tested placing the cg back and see for the results.

Ended way back from the manuals recommendations, to 95mm.

Model really performs at this cg, showing everything going up there and riding thermals from down low.

It turns tight and lands really slow. No bad tendencies.

I am about to change colours now, for the up coming season.

How long did it take you to build it?

Is it easy to build?

How smooth was the test glides?

I am going to resurrect this old thread as there is not much on the forum on this Albatros 2.4. This is the largest discussion thread.

You guys still flying yours? Any comments?

Would you recommend it for ALES?

I try to provide suggestions to the members of our club based on what I read on the forums. So, what are you thoughts?

Anyone put one of these up recently?

Inquiring minds want to know.
