Here is my total wing collection.......2
Top is my "bat" by windrider weighing in at 1.1kg (38 oz) and an absolute ball from 15 knots through to the highest i've flown it at 40 knots. Moulded epp covered in Koverall with 77 and then profilm (oracover) over that. No crappy strapping tape at all and very smooth/stiff as a slope wing should be. A friend has one that weighs 1.6kg (56oz!) and has been radared at just shy of 100mph in a frontside dive. They can be built light for fun, but love being heavy and fast. I made my own style single fin from balsa (the std ones look poxy) which slips into a slot I cut and lined with balsa. A touch of goop has it held firm.
The bottom one is my trusty Ezipper-2 with 16-15-4 on 8 kan 1050. If I remember it weighs about 650 grams.
Sunken HS-81mg servos and apart from killing one after a full noise nose in (don't ask, that sun is VERY bright, unlike some

) they have been fine.
It's also built using the same koverall over epp and then profilm over that. NO strapping tape at all. This wing has zero flex and is very tight in the turns, but I reckon the bat would give it a run for it's money for pure speed. I have sloped it in 20 knots and you should see a full powered downwind dive

Cheating I know, but still heck of a lot of fun. and a kan pack lasts about an hour! It's the ocean below I'm most worried about though when sloping it.
I gooped the tips on and they aint moving! After looking at the photo, I should really make a new battery lid
Cheers
Paul
P.S guess what colours of profilm I have in stock

They are both black on the bottom.
