Bob About Plan question
I'm looking to build a "Bob About" with the plans below and it says to scale the hull when printing it out to 12".
Which part of the hull is being referenced? The deck? The Bottom or the Hull sides?
If the sides - from what points do you measure as the edges are tapered?

Unless someone answers back to you, try this:
Meaure the deck from bow to transom and scale it back to 11 7/8" or maybe a bit less. That should give you a finished hull of 12" or a bit less.
To double check, rescale, then cut out the patterns out of some cardboard, tape them together and you should get a rough idea if it will measure out correctly.

Thanks for considering my design
The length of the bottom panel is 311.5mm or 12.264 inches.
I can email cad files if that helps you out.
good luck with the building and sailing.

Micro sailer, thank you very much for the reply! Cad files would be excellent as I have access to a plotter.
I will PM you with my email address.
Thank you very much guys!
