Been following the build. Thanks for sharing.

This plane is not Australian, but I like the paint scheme.

And one should be built like that...

It's like the Cal Air OV-10s.. I love that scheme....and if a decent size OV-10 wasn't such a bear to transport, I would build one....

Airliners.net has a lot of good shots of P-3 fire bombers.

I really like the red and white colour scheme as well. I reckon a model would look good. However there are a heap of changes in order to do a water bomber and I figured this was a big enough build let along bringing in my own changes (big water tank) plus you can't beat a war bird. I just want to get this bird in the air. But a fair way away from that. Hopefully things get a little less busy and I can build more

Merry Christmas everyone. Well my retracts are somewhere in the country which is great. Have been following the tracking like a hawk I really can't wait to get these retracts. As soon as I get them I'll out up a couple of photos. Hopefully everyone is having a good break and getting in some flying. It's been two days of fabulous weather here so decided to go flying yesterday. Haven't been for ages it was great flew a new DLG I put together and has a great day. Sometimes it's just great to go back to basic flying and remove the complications

Thought I would do an update on my retract situation. I called up the postal company to find that my retracts have gone to the wrong delivery centre which means I think they are now in the wrong state GRRRRRRR I have been waiting for these retracts for what feels like ages. I was told they will either be delivered tomorrow or late next week?!?!?! Still trying to work that one out. Anyway thought I would share my frustration. I'll let you know when they finally arrive.

So my retracts have arrived. They look fantastic. I haven't had a chance to work them yet but Century Jet Models have done a fantastic job of building these for me. I have put them into the plane and they only require the smallest of modifying to the existing structure of the plane its fantastic. Any time that you only have to take about 1mm off any former to fit retracts I reckon is a win. Sorry the photos aren't the best but I wasn't sure how to take good photos of retracts.

Ill get some pictures of them in the fuz over the weekend and post them next week. I was hoping to be a little further down the track on the fuz but time has slipped away. Ill also get some other photos up as well.
