Good to see things moving along with the Secret, Steve. I have been wondering about the status the last few months.

Congratulations Kolosun! Well done.

With Steve's help, we were able to really get the model flying really nicely at the slope this week. His understanding of the plane, and general experience were very helpful in getting the setup dialed in just right. I am sorry that we were so busy with our task that I did not take and picture/video. I really wish I would have captured Steve flying his designed model. He was very happy that day.

Future pilots will now have an even better setup guide for the Secret.

All I can say is . . .I know that the delays getting the model into full production have been frustrating and unfortunate, but you will not be disappointed with the performance of this model.

Hi everyone,
Scott Thomason and I flew the Secret today at the East facing Four Corners slope. We finalized the nose moment so I can now rework the sub-nose for the fuselage master and send it to the manufacturer. He should finally have the full order of 80 GSM TeXtreme carbon by now, so building the first production run should begin soon.

warning: overly detailed aero stuff in following paragraphs.
I measured the final setting, and used the aerodynamic center of the inboard wing airfoil, and measured to the front of the nose to get the nose moment. I then measured to the inboard tail aerodynamic center and divided to get the ratio of the nose to the tail.

I then thought... hmm, I wonder what that ratio is in another plane I like. I assumed the same aerodynamic centers for the Freestyler III to see how the two planes compare.
Freestyler: .55
Secret: .54957

- Steve =)

So, the fs3 was off a touch!
I hope to see one down south this season. I keep missing you when you get down here.
