Help - First HK Purchase Motor & ESC for scratch builds
I have been reading and reading on the scratch builds and have built a Nutball and will be building a 33 or 42" BB next 3channel then 4. I plan on building the ExpAir Noob Tube and Axion, along with other plans on this great site.
I am a noob and have not flown for many many years.
I am ordering my first motors and ESC from HK this week and I wanted some input from the crowd.
I was thinking of 4 motors with ESCs. So that I can fly & crash many different planes without having to switch motors around all the time.
I was orginally thinking of getting the
Turnigy 28 series - 2200, 1450, & 1000kv and the smaller 28-22-cq
I was going to get Plush 18A for the 24g motors
Turnigy TY-P1 25Amp HEXFET Brushless Speed Controller
TURNIGY Plush 30amp Speed Controller
Now I am thinking of getting a few different models to find out which ones are better than others, though with as much reading I do before I purchase I dont think any of these are bad choices.
maybe two of these hexTronik 24gram Brushless Outrunner 1700kv
as many planes on this site use it.
Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 2122-2100kv Brushless Outrunner Motor something different
Turnigy 28 - 2200kv and 1450kv larger motors for the larger birds.
I have just purchased 900mah 2s & 3s and 2200mah 3s batteries to work with.
Any and all feedback on motors and ESCs would be appreciated.
